The Choice is hiring for an exciting, entry-level opportunity to support a high-profile legal case.
Our client is an advisory firm that specializes in mass torts and class actions. This position will provide support on a case that is advocating for people affected by health-harmful products.
This is a great opportunity to gain substantive work experience that will also affect real legal outcomes. It has been excellent experience to prepare for law school and we have had many team members accepted into the top law schools in the country after working in this role.
This will be a contract position, with an estimated timeline of approximately 3-6 months. Future extensions would be determined based on the volume of work.
Qualifications:
- Some experience either in research, legal internships, or working with data would be a good fit. A future interest in law school/paralegal studies would be very well-aligned
- Previous experience working with data/legal/research databases are helpful
- Completed Bachelor’s degree
- Strong Excel skills
Job Duties:
This role will entail the review and analysis of large sets of closed claim documentation, then extracting and recording key case information to help build stronger future evidence. The position will also require some data review/standardization support. This position does not require any direct contact or work with the claimants.
About the office:
Modern office space very convenient to Farragut North/West/Foggy Bottom. Hybrid work schedule: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in the office is required, Mondays and Fridays work from home. Required core hours: 9AM-5:30PM.
Salary:
$32.00 per hour
