Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-focused administrative and billing assistance within a fast-paced legal environment. The Business Assistant will play a critical role in keeping daily operations organized by managing billing, trust replenishments, collections, and client communications. This position works closely with internal teams, courts, and clients to ensure deadlines are met, calendars are accurate, and financial and legal processes move forward smoothly. Success in this role requires strong communication, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with care and professionalism. Candidates who enjoy structured work, client interaction, and contributing to a collaborative team environment will thrive in this position.
• Monthly Compensation: 1,150 to 1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide criminal legal administrative support by contacting courts, confirming court dates, updating calendars, and reminding clients of upcoming appearances
• Coordinate scheduling and calendaring for court dates, meetings, and deadlines
• Manage billing processes, including invoicing and payment tracking
• Handle trust replenishments and monitor account balances
• Perform collections follow-ups with clients as needed
• Assist with traffic ticket processing and related documentation
• Answer and route inbound calls and emails professionally
• Make outbound calls to clients, courts, and related parties
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, courts, opposing counsel, and clients
Requirements:
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST
• Time Zone Requirement: PST
• Experience Level: Business Assistant with administrative and billing experience
• Industry Exposure: Legal services preferred but not required.
