Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and briefs.
- Organize and maintain case files and legal documents.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and deposition
- Assist with Invoices.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
- Draft correspondence and communicate case updates to clients.
- File documents electronically with courts and agencies.
Skills and Abilities:
- Previous Legal Assistant experience in a litigation practice.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with e-filing at the state and federal level (court-filing computer systems)
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- A high degree of attention to detail
- Adept at managing multiple files
- Strong grammar and proofreading skills to ensure the accuracy of legal documents
- Excellent work ethic
