Position Overview:
FGA seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support attorneys and litigation paralegals in its busy practice. The Legal Assistant plays an essential role in ensuring the efficient and organized management of case files, scheduling, and communications. This position requires strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
· Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals
· Format, proofread, and finalize correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents for filing and service
· Manage and organize physical and electronic case files within the Firm’s document management system
· Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, medical evaluations, meetings, and conference calls
· Prepare, scan, label, and file incoming and outgoing mail and maintain accurate filing logs
· Coordinate the filing and service of documents
· Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and reminders in Outlook as requested
· Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and administrative agencies as directed
· Provide general office support, including printing, copying, scanning, and answering phones
· Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required
· 3-5 years of experience in a law firm and/or legal assistant role preferred
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
The salary for this position is $60,000 per year. In addition to the base salary and an employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus and salary increase.
