New York City based real estate management company is seeking a legal assistant to support the executive team. The position is on-site and based in Midtown, Manhattan.
Job Details:
Assist with commercial lease abstract and management
Support attorneys and executive team with a variety of legal and administrative related regulatory and compliance projects
Track and monitor contracts
Organize and maintain legal files
Draft communications such as memos, emails, and letters
Maintain books and records of various partnerships
Liaise with outside counsel and other advisors regarding various matters
Prepare organizational charts for entities and flow charts
Provide administrative assistance including editing, formatting, and proofreading existing documents
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
3-6 years of experience as a legal or administrative assistant
Tech savvy with excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills; some knowledge of PowerPoint or Visio preferred
Experience working with a high volume of documents and information stored in electronic format
Excellent time management, organizational and multitasking skills
Strong verbal and written communicator with excellent follow-through
Sound discretion and judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience with MRI real estate software a plus
