Our client is a well-established law firm seeking a skilled and motivated Practice Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to attorneys. This is a hands-on that serves as a key liaison between attorneys and internal and external clients. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for assigned attorneys, managing incoming calls and communications
- Develop a strong understanding of each attorney’s practice, workflow, preferences, and client relationships
- Prepare, edit, format, and proofread legal and business documents, including correspondence, memos, presentations, and spreadsheets
- Maintain and manage attorney calendars, schedules, and complex travel arrangements with detailed itineraries
- Coordinate package shipments, courier services, and vendor interactions
- Order catering and support logistics for meetings and events
- Process, track, and reconcile vendor and client invoices; resolve billing issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative or paralegal role
- 1+ years of experience working in a law firm environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and related Office applications
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
