Job Description:
Join Job Duck as a Lien Specialist and become an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting personal injury cases. In this role, you will manage and negotiate medical liens, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
You’ll collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and attorneys, making a meaningful impact on every case. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving and clear communication.
Salary Range: 1,150 USD to 1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all lien records
• Accurately record and update liens in the case management system
• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries
• Address and resolve disputes or discrepancies with lienholders
• Prepare regular reports on lien statuses and outcomes
• Provide clients with clear and accurate lien information
• Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and internal teams
• Prepare and maintain lien-related documentation
• Verify compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and track lien status from inception to resolution
Requirements:
• Proficiency with case management software (e.g., Filevine) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with personal injury law, medical terminology, and lien regulations
• Legal Background mandatory
