The Legal Secretary will provide administrative support to attorneys at the Firm in the Financial Restructuring and Capital Markets practice groups.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage complex calendars
- Coordinate conflict checks and new matter memo process
- Work with travel vendor to coordinate domestic and international travel
- Review, categorize and prioritize incoming mail and emails
- Responsible for input of correspondence, memoranda, legal documents and forms utilizing MSWord
- Enter attorney time records into InTapp system.
- Organizes attorney emails in Outlook
- Screen telephone calls, accurately recording and relaying telephone message.
- Process expense reimbursements through Chrome River
- Coordinate meetings and/or conferences; interacts with office services and conference services teams
- Observe confidentiality of client matters
- Maintain department files
- Operate standard office equipment including copiers and scanners
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Approximately 3-5 years of administrative experience.
- Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
- Flexible for overtime
- Work in team environment
- Adaptable to shifting priorities
- Ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors
- Necessary interpersonal skills and superior command of English language in order to communicate and follow instruction effectively
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location from which the applicant will be performing the job.
