About the Role:
Vernis & Bowling’s North Miami office seeks a self-motivated Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Legal Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time, on-site position operates in a fast-paced environment and provides exposure to a broad spectrum of legal services under attorney supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct litigation support to associates and paralegals managing PIP claims.
- Draft, format, and proofread routine legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Manage calendar deadlines, schedule depositions, and coordinate hearings.
- Process state court filings and maintain organized electronic case files.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience in a law firm environment.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Direct familiarity with Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal case management software and standard office applications.
