We are seeking a motivated and experienced MID Intake Evaluator to join our organization!
The MID Intake Evaluator will work in a community behavioral health and addiction setting, providing services to individuals who have been referred to the Massachusetts Impaired Driving Program. The MID Intake Evaluator will be responsible for completing a comprehensive assessment, for court mandated or RMV referred individuals for the MID program, and other supporting documentation at first meeting; along with orienting new patients to the MID program offered in our outpatient clinic. They will work closely with our administrative assistants, clinic director, assistant clinic director, clinical supervisors and team of clinicians and MID Educators to ensure a smooth transition from enrollment to ongoing treatment. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working with the people we serve and will have clinical skills in assessment as well as experience working with a broad range of clinical presentations and age ranges.
Pay range: $19 - $21 per hour
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
1. Complete a Massachusetts standardized biopsychosocial comprehensive assessment, as well as corresponding addendums, during the first meeting.
2. Complete required evidence-based screening tools, such as the nicotine assessment, Tuberculosis screening, and health risk assessment.
3. Complete court evaluations letters during assessments, to be provided to probation officers and/or referral sources.
4. Complete required administrative documentation, such authorizations, consents, agreements, acknowledgements and enrollment forms.
5. Complete required documentation in a timely manner, meeting regulatory standards.
6. Collaborate and communicate with our Billing Department in regard to payment options.
7. Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
8. Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation processes.
9. Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies and community partners as needed. Establish and maintain relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies and organizations to promote programs and to identify and secure potential new alliances, partnerships and funding sources.
10. Pursue activities to enhance personal professional growth. Attend conferences, classes, address groups and represent agency. Attend/participate in statewide meetings, task forces, committees, etc. relating to area of expertise.
11. Promote and integrate agency mission, values, philosophy and principles.
12. Perform other similar duties as assigned by the Clinic Director and/or Assistant Clinic Director.
Education and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health and addiction field is required.

- 24 hours of minimum productivity per week is required.
