Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Assistant role based in Tyler, TX. The Legal Assistant will support attorneys by preparing and organizing legal documents, managing case files, and maintaining accurate records. Daily responsibilities include drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments and court dates, coordinating client communications, and assisting with document filing and retrieval. The role also involves handling general administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing calendars, and supporting billing or time entry processes. The Legal Assistant will work closely with the legal team to ensure efficient case management and timely completion of all required documentation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess solid Administrative Assistance abilities, such as calendar management, filing, data entry, and general office support.
- Candidates should possess experience working as Legal Assistants or in a similar legal support role, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Additional qualifications include strong attention to detail, confidentiality, proficiency with office and case management software, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
