A leading law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support two partners within its Employee Benefits Practice Group. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
The assistant will provide direct administrative and document support to attorneys handling ERISA, retirement plans, executive compensation, and health & welfare matters. Responsibilities include calendar and meeting management, drafting and formatting legal documents and correspondence, processing time and expense entries, preparing client materials, coordinating document execution, supporting onboarding and conflicts checks, and maintaining client files and matter records. The role also involves tracking deadlines, assisting with regulatory updates and client communications, and supporting special projects as needed.
Candidates should have 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment, along with strong communication skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently under tight deadlines. Exposure to employee benefits or ERISA is a plus.
