A reputable, national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for its Dallas office. This Litigation Legal Assistant will support a team of attorneys in a busy civil defense litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, edit, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and subpoenas
• Manage court filings, including e-filing in state and federal courts
• Maintain calendars, deadlines, travel arrangements, and case files
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and support staff
• Provide administrative support including expense reports and vendor invoices
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of legal secretarial experience, preferably in civil defense litigation
• Strong knowledge of state/federal court procedures and e-filing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software systems
