A national law firm with a large San Diego presence is seeking a Litigation Assistant for its federally focused practice. This role is hybrid in downtown San Diego.
Care about representing individuals up against large corporations? Have a solid understanding of litigation in state and federal courts? This role may be for you!
Responsibilities:
- Draft, format, and finalize legal documents and correspondence using firm-standard software (NetDocs).
- Manage attorney time entries and process expense reports, invoices, and reimbursements.
- Format pleadings and
- Coordinate travel, manage calendars, and organize in-person/virtual meetings via Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Maintain calendar for litigation deadlines.
- E-file in state and federal courts.
Must-Haves:
1. Strong eFiling skills, ideally in federal court strongly preferred.
2. Able to generate Tables of Contents (TOC) and Tables of Authorities (TOA) in compliance with court requirements
3. 3+ years of civil litigation experience
*** Must be local to San Diego and be able to commute downtown 3x/week.
