Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Legal Assistant / Intake Specialist to support our growing legal team. This role will be instrumental in managing client intake, communications, and legal support functions as we revamp our Intake Department and manage a high volume of open cases.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in handling legal workflows, client communications, and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PST
Monthly Compensation: 1,150 to 1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support attorneys with case preparation and documentation
- Enter and update data in CRM systems
- Follow up with prospective clients to secure signed retainer agreements
- Qualify leads and coordinate with attorneys for final qualification
- Handle incoming phone calls and direct them based on client needs
- Review and organize discovery documents
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and case updates
- Respond to web inquiries, emails, and leads in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures (especially discovery and filings)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with CRM systems and case management software
- Ability to multitask and manage high-volume workloads
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive follow-up and client management skills
