Our client, a thriving national law firm a Jr. Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in the firm’s litigation practice, and the Office Managing Partner. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a law firm supporting a litigation practice. This role involves calendaring, court filings, time entry, handling mailings, organizing files, and creating or editing legal correspondence, so strong MS Office skills and a solid work ethic are essential.
Success in this position comes from being someone who follows directions well, stays on top of tasks, and communicates clearly with stakeholders. The environment is fast-paced, so the ability to multitask, stay organized, and work quickly is important. The client is looking for someone who is supportive, proactive, and willing to take on additional responsibilities to help the team meet collective goals. A service-oriented mindset is also key; someone who genuinely wants to help, asks questions when needed, takes notes when learning, and looks for ways to improve processes. A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to stay focused are all critical to thriving in this role. Law firm experience is preferred but not required.
