Role Description
This is a full-time, exempt remote role for a Georgia Workers' Compensation Case Manager. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for clients navigating the workers' compensation process. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing client experience with case strategy and execution, all while collaborating closely with attorneys, insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and medical providers.
Our WC case managers operate by combing the organizational and administrative strengths of a legal assistant with the case development responsibilities of a paralegal. This means you will take ownership of your cases from intake through resolution, ensuring both a seamless client experience and strong case progression.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in workers' compensation case management, insurance claims, or related legal/medical field preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- High attention to detail in managing legal and medical documentation
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively with legal softwares, tools, and technology
- Comfortable and effective working in a remote stationary environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a small, fast-paced team
- Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information
- Compassionate, empathetic, and client focused
