Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Intake Specialist to join Job Duck and serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients in a fast-paced legal environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the client experience by managing inbound and outbound calls, gathering essential case details, and guiding individuals through the intake and onboarding process. You will thrive in a results-driven setting where building trust, communicating clearly, and converting leads into signed clients are key to success. Monthly Compensation: 1,150 to 1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth intake and onboarding processes
• Guide clients through the process of reviewing and signing representation documents
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with prospective clients
• Provide a professional and empathetic experience to all prospective clients
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all client interactions
• Follow up consistently with leads to maintain engagement and drive conversions
• Evaluate and assess whether potential cases meet qualification criteria
• Gather and document relevant case information accurately in the CRM
Requirements:
• Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST, with flexibility to support occasional extended hours based on business needs (additional hours are compensated accordingly)
• Experience: Prior experience in sales, intake, or client-facing roles is required, preferably in a legal or service-based environment
Software and Tools:
• CRM systems such as Lead Docket and Filevine
• VOIP systems including Zoom Phone
• Email platforms such as Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Office Suite for calendar management and documentation
Training Program:
• Participation in the Staffer Skills Foundation Program is included
• Weekly one-hour instructor-led sessions every Wednesday from 2:00–3:00 PM EST
• Focus on core professional skills and role-specific applied practice
Required Skills
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly

• Ability to manage a high volume of calls efficiently (31–45 calls per day expected)
