Job Description:
The Legal Assistant role at Job Duck offers an opportunity to provide essential administrative and organizational support within a dynamic family law practice. In this position, candidates will help ensure cases move forward smoothly by coordinating client communication, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing key deadlines with precision.

Salary Range: •1,150 USD to 1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assist with preparation logistics for hearings and trials
• Escalate potential deadline risks to supervising attorneys
• Track deadlines, hearings, filings, and important dates
• Document all client communications and case activities in CLIO
• Support billing processes as needed
• Enter time entries related to client communication and administrative tasks
• File and save correspondence and legal documents accurately
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files
• Maintain and update the Firm Master Task List
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, calls, hearings, and mediations
• Respond promptly to phone and email inquiries
• Serve as an administrative point of contact for clients
Requirements:
• Strong organizational skills
•Experience working in a law firm - Family Law Firm
