Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in our New York office. This role is ideal for a legal support professional with solid law firm experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and legal teams
- Prepare, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
- Handle filing, document management, and records maintenance
- Assist with time entry, billing support, and expense processing as needed
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external contacts
- Support general office and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Legal Administrative Assistant experience in a law firm environment
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document formatting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
