Trueline's client, a nationally recognized law firm with a strong presence across the Southeast and major U.S. markets, is seeking a Litigation Administrative Assistant to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a high-visibility role supporting a busy civil defense litigation practice, ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys being a key contributor to case strategy and client service.
What You'll Do as the Litigation Administrative Assistant:
Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
Manage electronic court filings in state and federal systems
Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
Track discovery, manage document productions, and coordinate downloads and uploads
Schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings while maintaining complex attorney calendars
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Assist with trial preparation and logistics
Support billing processes, review time entries, and monitor accounts receivable
Process expense reports and assist with matter opening, closing, and conflicts checks
Must-Haves as the Litigation Administrative Assistant:
3-5 years of civil defense litigation experience
Hands-on experience with e-filing in state and federal courts
Strong understanding of legal billing procedures and collections support
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Exceptional proofreading skills with strong grammar and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Administrative Assistant:
Experience with document management systems such as iManage or Filesite
Familiarity with Dropbox or OneDrive
Prior experience supporting multiple attorneys in a mid-to-large law firm environment
