Purpose
The paralegal's primary responsibility will be to provide general support to the Legal Department for Zara USA, Inc. and other brands of the Inditex Group portfolio in the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
Temporary: Up to 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with corporate secretarial functions (e.g., preparing corporate resolutions and meeting minutes). Manage and maintain corporate books and business filing databases
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading commercial agreements/contracts (e.g., NDAs and vendor contracts)
- Respond to subpoena requests in a timely manner
- Liaise with customer service department on customer service matters
- Conduct legal research as needed
- Create informative and captivating presentations in PowerPoint with embedded media and compile presentation and training materials
- Maintain and update contract management systems and processes
Requirement & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate required
- Minimum of 3 years relevant corporate paralegal experience obtained at a US law firm or in-house
- Corporate governance experience (preparing minutes and resolutions, coordinating service of process filings, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of legal terminology and principles, particularly in the areas of retail real estate and corporate law
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point are essential) and Adobe
- Familiarity with CSC
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Must have the ability to work on cross-functional projects with international teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently while performing as a team player
- Quick learning self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable, intellectually curious, and have a problem-solving attitude
- Qualified as a NY notary
- Preferred: proficiency in Spanish and experience with commercial real estate documents (e.g., SNDAs, estoppel certificates, leases)

Annual compensation range:
$90,000 - $100,000 + discretionary bonus
