Junior Paralegal – Litigation Support

Job Summary
We are seeking a Calendar Clerk / Litigation Support Clerk to support a busy legal team handling insurance defense and litigation matters. This role will focus on calendaring, data entry, e-filing, and administrative litigation support, working closely with paralegals and attorneys to ensure accuracy, compliance with court deadlines, and smooth case operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with law firm or litigation support experience who is detail-oriented and comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage legal calendars, including court deadlines, filings, and case-related milestones
- Perform e-filing of legal documents via NYSCEF, PACER, and other court systems
- Support attorneys and paralegals with data entry, document organization, and case maintenance
- Assist with preparation and processing of litigation-related documents
- Update and maintain electronic case files and document repositories
- Coordinate with legal team members to ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met
- Provide general litigation administrative support as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal department in a clerical, calendar, or litigation support role
- Strong calendaring experience with knowledge of court deadlines and procedures
- E-filing experience is required (NYSCEF, PACER, or similar systems)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with data entry and document management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Nice to Have / Plus Skills
- Exposure to EBTs, motions, or other litigation filings
- Familiarity with insurance defense or litigation environments
- Experience working alongside paralegals and attorneys on active cases

Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent legal experience
