Our client, a prestigious law firm headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a sharp, experienced, and highly discreet
Legal Assistant to support two Partners and their team of Associates. Our client is a boutique law firm specializing in high-stakes commercial litigation, investigations, and appellate advocacy.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$40/hr - $45/hr
Position Overview
The Legal Assistant will provide dedicated support to two Partners and their Associates. The Legal Assistant will handle a wide range of high-level administrative responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal Legal Assistant will be exceptionally organized, resourceful, and capable of anticipating needs before they arise. This role requires someone with superior communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex schedules and priorities.
Responsibilities Of The Legal Assistant
- Arranging complex travel arrangements/accommodations as required and creating detailed travel itineraries for assigned attorneys
- Ordering catering for meetings as necessary.
- Processing and tracking vendor/client invoices in the Firm's check request system and resolving any billing issues.
- Reconciling attorney accounts every week.
- Submitting expenses for reimbursement.
Required Experience/Skills for the Legal Assistant:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant in legal environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and dependable with a proactive approach.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
