The growing DC office of a global law firm is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to support two Litigation Partners of the firm. The Executive Assistant serves as the key point of contact for both internal and external clients, as well as serves as a liaison between the attorneys and clients. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality, be results driven, have the ability to exercise good judgment and can maintain a multitude of assignments with minimal supervision at a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain busy calendars, emails and schedule meetings.
- Prepare and organize complex travel arrangements (domestic and international)
- Maintain client files, updates contact lists.
- Drafting letters and correspondence.
- Conserves attorneys time by reading, researching and routing correspondence.
- Monitors, screens, and responds to and distributes incoming communication.
- Process reimbursement expenses, heavy expenditure reporting and credit card reconciliation.
- Manage client billing, expenses and time entry.
- Marketing and business development support.
- Heavy client contact for coordination and to assist with the management of client relationships.
- Coordinate client engagement, conflict process and opening matters.
- Assist with business development initiatives.
- Other special projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have seven or more years' experience as legal administrative or legal executive assistant with a global or national law firm.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required, as well as document management and other office technologies.
- MUST have experience supporting Litigation Partners/Shareholders of a law firm.
