We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team.Position Overview:This full-time position involves a wide range of administrative and legal support tasks to keep our attorneys organized and responsive to client needs. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Answering phones and scheduling appointmentsOpening and closing client filesCommunicating with clients, courts, and opposing counselDrafting letters, legal correspondence, and court documents (briefs, motions, etc.)Managing emails, faxes, and general office filingSupporting attorneys with calendar management and tracking upcoming deadlinesCompleting assigned administrative and legal projects as neededTranscribe dictated notes and recordings from tape into accurate, formatted documentsQualifications:Experience with E-courts filings (NY/ NJ) with a focus on Civil and Appellate divisions, PACER, ACMS, JEDS, WestLaw/ ThomsonSelf-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work independentlyStrong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, internet research, and document managementProfessional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust maintain confidentiality and always demonstrate sound judgmentHighly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with a positive attitude
