Job Duck is a virtual staffing company that matches candidates to work from home for a single U.S.-based business, in most cases a law firm.
We are seeking a creative and highly organized Social Media & Video Editing Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This full-time, remote position reports to the VP of Marketing and is responsible for driving our media presence across multiple platforms for our three companies, ensuring that our content aligns with each company's voice, brand, and mission.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Repurposing
Create and manage content plans and calendars for our three companies
Repurpose existing social media posts for maximum impact
Design visually stunning graphics and animations using Canva or similar tools
Create and edit long-form and short-form videos for Reels, Shorts, and Stories
Leverage AI LLMs for content creation, including prompting and building a content marketing engine
Distribute press releases effectively
Coordinate influencer and affiliate relationships
Content Planning & Scheduling
Build and maintain content calendars for our three companies
Schedule posts using Metricool Social Planner
Plan content around holidays, promotions, and events to maximize audience engagement
Coordinate with marketing campaigns to ensure optimized post engagement
Hashtag & Trend Management
Create, store, and manage hashtags across platforms
Analyze and optimize hashtag performance
Stay current with social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly
Competitor & Trend Analysis
Regularly monitor and analyze competitor strategies
Identify new trends and opportunities in social media
Experiment with new content formats to keep our presence fresh
Stay up-to-date with all social media platform algorithms and updates
Brand Management & Consistency
Develop and maintain consistent branding across all platforms
Ensure our brand's voice and tone are reflected in every piece of content
Monitor and protect our brand's reputation online
Community Engagement
Provide daily engagement with our online community, responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions
Build genuine connections with followers and foster meaningful conversations
Platform Management
Manage all social media platforms, including:
Event Promotion
Collaborate with our marketing team to promote events
Create event-specific content and promotional materials
Engage attendees before and after events
Analytics & Reporting
Track key engagement metrics across platforms
Provide monthly insights and reports on content performance, audience demographics, and traffic
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have the following:
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience in social media management and content creation
Proficiency in video editing and graphic design
Strong understanding of AI LLMs and their application in content creation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Data-driven approach to content strategy
Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and best practices
