What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
- Client Advocacy: Serve as a primary, compassionate point of contact for clients in a high-volume, sensitive practice area.
- Case Management: Maintain, organize, and update physical and digital client files with strict attention to detail.
- Document Preparation: Draft routine legal correspondence and assist in compiling, organizing, and finalizing discovery materials.
- Evidence Gathering: Assist attorneys by proactively requesting, tracking, and obtaining medical records and official documents.
- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with attorneys and paralegals to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: 2+ years of legal assistant experience is preferred, but we will fully train the right entry-level candidate.
- Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle sensitive client interactions with empathy and professionalism.
- Core Skills: Outstanding organizational abilities, a strong initiative to problem-solve, and the capacity to multitask effectively.
