PrimeTalent’s client is seeking a Legal Assistant to support its Litigation Team in Kansas City.
Our client—a respected law firm with a strong reputation in litigation—is looking for a Legal Assistant with 3+ years of experience to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity supporting a collaborative group of attorneys and paralegals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, finalize, and format legal correspondence and litigation documents (pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, etc.)
- Support attorneys and paralegals with calendaring, scheduling hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and handle expense reports
- Manage electronic court filings and maintain case files
- Work independently on projects and collaborate across the legal team
- Maintain professionalism when working with internal and external clients
- Additional administrative and legal support tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of court procedures and e-filing platforms
- Ability to proofread, type 70+ WPM, and handle transcription tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or related business field preferred
