Job Overview
TauRx Therapeutics is seeking a diligent, proactive, and highly organised Virtual Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a fully remote role, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. At TauRx, our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals, carers, and families affected by neurodegenerative diseases. As a Virtual Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative support, enabling our team to focus on pioneering treatments for Alzheimer's disease and other related disorders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while working independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior management and the wider team.
* Manage professional calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments across different time zones.
* Handle email correspondence and other communications with professionalism and discretion.
* Prepare, format, and edit documents, reports, and presentations.
* Conduct research, compile data, and assist with the preparation of materials for meetings.
* Organise and maintain digital files and records to ensure they are easily accessible.
* Handle confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
* Assist with ad-hoc projects and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other common productivity tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively with minimal supervision.
* A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
* A strong sense of discretion and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
