Legal Assistant
Location: Wichita, KS (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Compensation: Up to $65,000 Base ($30/hour)

About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established, trial-focused plaintiff litigation firm with over 40 years of success representing individuals in complex personal injury matters. With a collaborative team of experienced attorneys, the firm is known for handling high-value trucking, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and motor vehicle litigation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and serve legal documents in state and federal courts
- Draft and format pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Maintain case files and organize litigation documents
- Monitor court deadlines and manage attorney calendars
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, medical providers, and experts
- Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and other case-related events
- Assist attorneys with discovery, document production, and trial preparation
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
- Personal Injury experience preferred; candidates with plaintiff, insurance defense, or criminal law backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Experience filing pleadings in both state and federal courts is required
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$60,000 – $65,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
