We’re hiring a Legal Assistant to support our Paralegals and Attorneys with:
- Requesting and tracking medical records & bills
- Verifying balances and lien information
- Opening new cases and organizing client files
- Helping prepare demand packages and settlement documents
- Offering general paralegal and negotiation support
This is an hourly position — ideally 40 hours a week, but we’re flexible for the right person.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone organized, proactive, and unflappable in a fast-moving environment
- A team player who’s as comfortable on the phone with a hospital billing office as they are laughing at our Halloween costume contest
- Experience in medical records, billing, or personal injury law is a plus, but not required
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
- We value culture over experience, kindness over competence (but if you’re both — you’ll fit right in)
