Title: Litigation and Regulatory Project Assistant (contract)

Hours: 40 Hours / Week
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $50 - $55 / hr ($100,000 - $110,000 annualized)

Role Overview
The Project Assistant will play a key role in supporting litigation and regulatory teams with operational support. This position is ideal for a proactive and organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Intake Coordination
- Manage incoming inquiries and documentation across email, physical mail, and CT Corporation.
- Review and triage legal documents for timely routing to the right stakeholders.
- Create new matters and partner with the litigation and regulatory team to audit and ensure understanding of the matter management process for accurate reporting.
Document Management
- Accurately categorize and enter data into intake tools.
- Maintain complete, up-to-date records for quick access.
Communication
- Coordinate with legal team members during audits of matter management systems.
Record Keeping
- Maintain a well-organized repository of legal documents and records for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., insurance counsel, finance audits).
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a Project Assistant role or a related administrative position.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Acute attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Hybrid (3x per week in SF office) work schedule
