Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant with General Liability experience to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling General Liability matters
Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
Manage calendars, deadlines, and case files
Handle e-filing in state and federal courts
Organize and maintain electronic files in a paperless environment
Coordinate document production, scanning, and document management
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal teams
Support attorneys through all phases of litigation from inception through resolution

Qualifications

Strong work ethic and professionalism
Excellent typing, grammar, and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to see projects through to completion
Demonstrated proficiency with technology and legal software
