Paralegal - Government Contractor

Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing government contracting company that is seeking a Paralegal to support a government agency in the lower Manhattan area. The ideal candidate will be professional and attentive to the agency client’s needs.

Location: Onsite. Hybrid work may become available after the initial period, depending on agency policy.

Job Duties, Including But Not Limited To

Assist in the review, organization, and preparation of legal documents such as Answers, Motions for Extensions, and other pleadings.
Responsible for docketing utilizing electronic management systems.
Collect, compile, or extract case-related data and information and prepare management information reports.
Review, complete, and/or correct files concerning matters associated with litigation
Provide support to agency attorneys
Track case related information in agency data systems
Assist with general administrative office tasks as assigned

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL

Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Must be a US citizen.

Qualifications, Requirements, & Selection Criteria

Minimum of three (3) years of Paralegal/Legal Secretary experience required.
A Bachelor’s Degree or an Associates Degree + Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred
Must have knowledge of legal principles, statutes, regulations, and federal rules that apply to litigation.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work as a team player in a professional environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Compensation: From $55,000 to $85,000 per year
