Job Title: Legal Assistant (Intake Specialist)

Position Overview: As a Legal Assistant at Harris Keenan and Goldfarb, you will play a crucial role in supporting firm operations, completing & organizing trial forms, and providing administrative support during all stages of fast-paced personal injury litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain medical records on behalf of clients.
Fill out & process HIPAA forms.
Handle incoming & outgoing mail.
Assist in processing, paginating, and binding appellate filings.
Support attorneys and paralegals on document filing and other litigation support tasks.
Draft and proofread material for spelling & grammatical errors.

Requirements:

Undergraduate Degree from accredited university.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for the legal field.
Proactive, able to work independently.
Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
